Sir G. Gater mentioned to me that he had consulted Sir Arthur Rucker about Mr. Coleman. Unfortunately Sir Arthur Rucker is unable to clearly identify Mr. Coleman but if he is the man he has in mind, he certainly had a very good reputation.

Sir A. Rucker suggested that Sir Kinahan Cornwallis, who is now in England, might be consulted as he would undoubtedly know Mr.Coleman well.
